Entertainment
Knox has a specialty group providing coverage for promoters and entertainers. Liability coverage for spectators and cancellation cover and weather can be purchased for events throughout North America and Europe. Managers of acts can find coverage for liability for tours in small and large venues. Coverage for physical assets in transit is also available. Specialized covers for earnings from entertainers including death and disgrace can be obtained. Knox specializes in music and provides cover for promoters, managers and entertainers in all genres.

Government Entities
Knox insures Municipalities and First Nations in central and northern Ontario through its affiliated company, MIS Municipal Insurance Services. Operating from the same location as Knox, MIS exclusively represents the Municipal Insurance Program offered by Jardine Lloyd Thompson Canada Ltd. and also insures First Nations from Georgian Bay to Hudson Bay.

Excess and Surplus Lines
Knox maintains relationships with an endless group of insurers, managing general agents and wholesale brokerages to place specialty covers. Access to these underwriters allows Knox to place coverage on logging equipment, underground mining equipment. Wind and flood cover can also be purchased.

Political Risk Cover
Companies with overseas, especially third world, exposures usually face risks associated with political risk. Through facilities at AIG and Lloyds, Knox can provide cover for expropriation, nationalization or confiscation of assets domiciled unstable jurisdictions in the most of the world. Coverage enhancements for a variety of situations caused by unstable governments including political violence can be purchased.

Credit
In partnership with Millennium Credit Risk and Lloyd's, Knox can provide receivables cover for businesses with revenues from $5 million CDN to large multi-national companies. As a general rule, it is required by underwriters that 100% of receivables be insured but it is possible to purchase cover for specific clients to which your company may be overexposed.

Kidnap, Ransom and Extortion / Product Contamination
Syndicates at Lloyds and major North American and European insurers provide cover for corporations and individuals with business travel in volatile regions of the world. Energy and mining companies with Middle Eastern and South American exposure are a specialty of Knox. Product tampering in food, beverage and non-prescription drugs can be a company-ending event. Knox can provide cover and advice to companies large or small.

Bloodstock
Knox has a portfolio of standard dairy farms placed in the domestic market. We have companies that are interested in insuring beef, hog and poultry as well as hobby farms. Cover for equestrian farms is also available. Specialty coverage for animal mortality, infertility, and surgery can be provided. Coverage for animal transit and embryo transit is also available.

Marine
Domestic insurers, Protection and Indemnity Clubs and Lloyds are accessible by brokers at Knox. From hull cover to marine liabilities, marinas to stevedores, all exposure can be priced through our facilities. We cover old boats with marine surveys, charter boats, ferries or tug and barge fleets.

Aviation
Lloyd's, AIG and BAIG are the main providers of aviation cover at Knox. From light planes to small commercial fleets including helicopters, Knox has access to markets. Liability and property cover for working on airport property or airplanes themselves are also available.

Forestry
We have insurance programs, specifically designed for the Northern Ontario logging Contractor. These programs offer you the coverage you need, at the best possible pricing.
