Knowledge & Experience

Knowledge is the first step in adequately managing risk

knowledge
1. acquaintance with facts, truths, or principals as from study, investigation and experience.
2. the fact or state of knowing; perception, apprehension

Imagine This:Your insurance company confronts you with a claims or underwriting decision that is technical, complex and carries significant financial implications. Naturally, you place some trust in the advice and counsel of the person who sold you the policy. However, you later discover that your advisor knows very little more than you.

At Knox, our intention is to earn your trust by demonstrating our experience, knowledge and responsiveness. Your broker is a “student” of the industry, typically with 15 or more years experience.

When buying insurance coverage it is unwise to pay too much, but it is much worse to pay too little.

Providing insurance protection involves an understanding of legal principals, underwriting processes, market dynamics, coverage limitations and the ability to put it all together to the benefit our clients. Our culture is one of constant learning and sharing of information. We are students of this industry; our international experience allows us to follow the global trends in the worlds of finance, insurance and risk management. All of this means that when we deal with underwriters, lawyers, adjusters, appraisers, we are doing it from a position of strength – for you, our client.
