August Group

Knox Insurance Brokers Ltd. is a member of a group of Ontario insurance brokers formed in 1974. The group shares information about insurance companies and regularly meets with the senior executives in charge of Ontario. The group represents premium volume exceeding $500 million CAD in the province and provides market intelligence second to none.

Marsh Canada

Knox has a brokerage relationship with Marsh insurance brokers. Marsh is the world’s largest broker of property and casualty products. In a territory from Orillia to Hearst on the northeastern corridor, Knox has the exclusive right to represent certain Marsh products including medical malpractice. Knox also has access to Marsh’s capability to assist in placing large complex accounts. Marsh also brings claims expertise to these risk managed placements.

Lloyd's Brokers

Knox was tribunalized at Lloyds in 1991 and has developed relationships with brokers and underwriters in the Lloyds market which will allow placements of the most complicated and difficult risks. Knox has unique relationships with two of London’s leading brokers; JLT, BMS/HRH and Flemings to access syndicates at Lloyds.

JLT Group Inc.

Jardine Lloyd Thompson provides underwriting and placement services for Knox in the municipal, mining, and oil and gas sectors. JLT is a London based brokerage that operates in over 30 countries and employs over 5,000 people.
